About us

 

The Social Impact Investment Network SA (SIINSA) is a membership association, and our purpose is to stimulate and promote a diverse social impact investment community to address social issues through inventive financial collaborations for social and cultural change.

  • We believe that is possible to achieve important social outcomes while generating investing return.
  • Our members come from community groups, banks, not-for-profit organisations, philanthropic foundations, individuals and businesses.
  • We hosts events, commissions research and offers advice to decision-makers in impact investment across the private and public sectors.

 

The Board

All board members are volunteers and the Board is chaired by Jane Arnott.

 

Jane Arnott

With over 25 years’ experience working in the not for profit sector in grant making and philanthropy, community development, policy, governance and change management, Jane has an extensive background of working in large, sector-support organisations. She has led change projects at the Big Lottery Fund, the UK’s largest distributor of lottery-funded grants, and was also head of program development, overseeing an ambitious agenda to launch 40 new funding programs. Before moving to South Australia, Jane worked at the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) in the UK, leading their consulting services for charities and donors. Going on to become CAF’s Director of International, Jane was responsible for providing strategic development for their offices globally, including Australia, US, Brazil, Russia, India and South Africa. Jane is currently General Manager of Consulting at Community Business Bureau, a national, not for profit social enterprise

Sam Moore

Sam is an experienced international finance professional and lawyer.

Sam is currently Managing Director of Capital Prudential funds management and a Non-Executive Director of the Social Impact Investment Network of South Australia. Sam previously held Board and Senior Management positions at Rural Bank Limited and Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Ltd where over 13 years he held positions across all aspects of banking including structured finance, capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, credit, lending, operations and products. Sam has previously been a Director of Homesafe Solutions a specialist fund manager in the retirement sector. Prior to this Sam spent 10 years as a lawyer both in Australia and Europe specialising in international cross border structured finance transactions.
