With nearly 30 years’ experience working in the not-for-profit sector in grant making and philanthropy, community development, policy, governance and change management, Jane has an extensive background of working in large, sector-support organisations. She has led change projects at the Big Lottery Fund, the UK’s largest distributor of lottery-funded grants, and was also head of program development, overseeing an ambitious agenda to launch 40 new funding programs. Before moving to South Australia, Jane worked at the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) in the UK, leading their consulting services for charities and donors. Going on to become CAF’s Director of International, Jane was responsible for providing strategic development for their offices globally, including Australia, US, Brazil, Russia, India and South Africa.


On moving to Adelaide in 2016, Jane joined Community Business Bureau, a national, not for profit social enterprise, as General Manager of Consulting, a role that included leading a program of business consulting for over 100 disability service providers, transitioning to NDIS. For eight months in 2020, Jane was Joint Acting CEO at CBB, supporting the staff team to maintain service continuity through the height of the Covid pandemic.


Jane is currently Service Leader, Governance Support, Grants and HR for Julia Farr group, a trio of social purpose organisations working to assist people living with disability to get a fair go at all that life has to offer.


Jane has been on the board of SIINSA (Social Impact Investment Network SA) since 2017, including serving three years as board chair.
